Commercial grade 3 monitored alarm system installation in Thame, Oxfordshire

Following an enquiry for a Commercial monitored alarm system in Oxfordshire, we carried out an on-site survey to provide a specification and quotation. The customer is a carbon neutral company and liked that we have a partnership with One Tree Planted to reduce our carbon footprint.

When designing a solution for a warehouse, it is important that the system meets the requirement for insurance, be functional and adaptable for the customer.

The installation was –

• SSAIB or NACOSS approved
• Grade 3 with Grade 4 signalling
• Cover external doors, 1 x roller shutter and an open plan warehouse.

Texecom equipment was used for the installation contained in aluminium tubing conduit for containment. To blend in the environment all white equipment was selected with a large green display keypad. Also due to the fact that this building was attached to another, we installed a Grade 3 shock sensor to detect if being attacked from the adjacent building. The system was monitored by Dualcom Pro Lan / radio.

The complete systems were tested with the relevant interfaces, then demonstrated with the O&M Manuals handed to the customer.
